Finnish women live almost 8 years longer than men. They use their right to vote in local and national elections more often than men, and they are almost as well educated, or even better educated in the case of the younger generation. They have money of their own which they receive from their own full-time paid work. And yet they are still not equal with men on the labour market but are often engaged in different, less prestigious jobs which yield lower incomes.114encc by 4.0tilastotnaisetmiehettasa-arvosukupuoliajankäyttöelinolotelämänkaariWomen and Men in FinlandURN:ISBN:951-727-094-1metadataOnlyfalseElinolot ja tasa-arvoSukupuolten tasa-arvo
